Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?

A senior-level designer will cost you $100K+ and require benefits + vacation (if you can even find a solid designer available at this rate). Additionally, they may not always have full time work available to keep them busy so you're paying for time you are not utilizing.

With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to pay only for design when you need it.

Is there a limit to how many design requests I can have?

You can have as many design requests as you want and they will be delivered one by one. The recommendation is to keep a few items always in your TODO list so there’s always work to be done.

What will I receive in two business days?

Most requests are delivered within two business days on average. This includes basic landing pages, email templates, brand concepts, etc. Larger requests will be delivered every 24-48 hours until the request is complete.

Who are the designers?

Mutual Fellow is an agency of one with 10+ years of ecommerce design experience across a variety of industries with deeper roots in fashion, accessories, and lifestyle focused businesses. You will work directly with me, the founder.

What if I’m not happy with my designs?

No problem. You get unlimited revisions until you are 100% satisfied.

How do you handle larger requests?

Larger requests are broken down into smaller chunks that are typically delivered every 24-48 hours until the request is complete. This usually applies to full scale websites or long landing pages or mobile app designs, etc.

Does the service include development?

Mutual Fellow does not include development at this time, but you’ll have everything you need to put your developers to work making the updates to your site.

Does the service include copywriting?

Mutual Fellow does not include copywriting at this time.

How do I request designs?

Once in, you’ll create a design queue using Trello. Common ways to request designs is directly through Trello, google docs, voice notes, or a brief loom video. If you can link it or share it to Trello, it’s on!

Is there any design work you do not cover?

Yes. Mutual Fellow does not cover the following design work: 3D modeling, animated graphics (GIFS, etc.), and complex site animations.

What if I only have 1 or a few requests?

Totally fine. Pause your subscription, bank the remaining time, and resume when you have more requests.

How does the pause feature work?

If you only have a few requests for the month, this is where the pause feature helps.

You are billed in 31 day cycles. Should you pause your subscription, you can bank the additional time. Let’s say you pause after 21 days, you will have 10 days remaining to use in the future once you resume your subscription.

What’s your refund policy?

Due to the nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued. However, with the service you get unlimited revisions until you are 100% satisfied.
